2025 Scheduled Maintenance
Keeping the Refinery Safe and Reliable
The Burnaby Refinery is a large and complex operation that requires regularly scheduled maintenance to ensure it runs safely, reliably, and optimally.
Scheduled maintenance provides an opportunity to clean, inspect and service equipment more thoroughly and efficiently.
We will continue our commitment to upholding all environmental, safety and regulatory requirements throughout these scheduled maintenance periods.
Maintenance is scheduled for:
Dates: Beginning February 1, 2025, with anticipated completion in late February.
Hours: Work will be conducted 24/7, with most of the work happening during the daytime. Some work will be completed overnight.
We also plan each maintenance activity to minimize community impacts as much as possible, and we always welcome feedback on how we can do better. Please find below more information.
